MAP nie znalazła Wraku, ale przynajmniej dowiodła swojej klasy, organizując ekspedycję na MP. Może by tak ponowić uderzenie do Woods Hole i pana Ballarda i zaproponować wspólne zadziałanie? Wcześniej na którymś z działów Forum jest mój liścik zarówno do pana RDB, jak i do National Geographic Society.
Właśnie! NGS - przecież jest polskie wydanie, jest polska redakcja, stamtąd są pewnie dojścia do ich centrali, no to NA CO CZEKAMY??
Zamierzam podpatrzeć ich stronę w internecie i poprzez nią zwrócić uwagę na Orła, jego koniec, jego Wrak i... na nas trochę też.
Z innej beczki. Stąd i zowąd słyszałem, że podobno Amerykanie mają obadane całe dno Morza Północnego do tego stopnia, że mogliby podjąć się znalezienia każdego wraku z Kosmosu - to jest poprzez satelity. Pytanie: czy takie coś jest rzeczywiście możliwe? Ballard niestety musiał popłynąć - do Titanica, do Bismarcka i do innych wraków. Siedząc sobie za komputerem, jak nie przymierzając pewien Wraq, można wymyślać różne rzeczy, nawet niestworzone... obawiam się, że wieści o tych amerykańskich satelitach należą raczej do gatunku tych ostatnich. Co Wy na to???
jest a i owszem. ale niestety ciężko na tej podstawie coś zrobić. Chodzi o to ze amerykańskie satelity niby meteorologiczne robiły swego czasu mapę magnetyczna ziemi. Było to robione w jakiś tam latach. i teraz jest to jako wzorzec. I jak plynie jakis okręt podwodny lub siedzi sobie na dnie to odrazu widac takową anomalie. Niestety wszytko co było przed tworzeniem tego systemu jest jako naturalne tlo. bo trzeba by było sprawdzić wszystko co jest nie tak. tzn. sprawdzić czy jest to skupisko jakeś rudy czy moze wrak. a moze cos jeszcze innego. zatem ten sposów nie zabardzo pomoze w poszukiwaniach ORŁA. tym bardziej ze amerykanie nadal twierdza ze nie maja takiego systemu. raczej ze mają ale nie az tak sprawdzonego i ktory nie pokrywa calego swiata
Stary_Wraq jak zwykle działa. Tym razem wysłałem pismo do... Deutsche Marine (dawnej Bundesmarine) z zapytaniem wręcz czy, i ewentualnie ile Niemcy wiedzieli o Orle podczas wojny i obecnie. Chodzi o personel dwóch marynarek wojennych (Kriegs- i Deutsche Marine).
Wydaje mi się, że Deutsche Marine to również odpowiedni adres do wysłania zapytania w sprawie tej wzmianki w Marine Rundschau z 1940 roku; oni mogą rozstrzygnąć ewentualne wątpliwości, o których pisali Koledzy w innym miejscu na Forum.
Ja zamieszczam pod spodem treść mojego listu do Niemców:
Dear Sirs,
I am myself no great fan of the German U-Bootwaffe, being much more that of the "Bismarck", but I have already several times delved into my library and archive to investigate into the story of those U-Boats, which disappeared without trace during the WW2. I've found as much as 14 such cases - i/e those described exactly as 'disappeared without trace'.
I know as well, that Germany has built subs almost ever since, its first U-Boat being launched as early as in August '06. The story of Polish subs is almost exactly 20 years shorter. Our first sub ever was the French-built "Rys", in English Lynx and in German Luchs.
And R11; heavens! R11; we operate now German-built U-Boats (those five or four plus one handed over to us by Norwegians not so long ago)!!!
What I would like to tell you a bit more, is the ORP ORZEL, the most famous Polish submarine ever (built at Vlissingen, NL). She entered the service under Polish colours in February 1939 to see it (and action during the WW2) only for about nine months. Funded by the people of Poland and dedicated officially to the memory of one of our national heroes, Marshall Jozef Pilsudski, the sub became famous through her escape from the threat to be interned at Tallinn in mid-September 1939, and then through her Baltic adventures, the crossing of Denmark straits etc.
The sub, commanded by Lieut. cdr. J Grudzinski PN, reached British waters on the 14th of Oct. '39 and then made six patrols in service with the RN, becoming again famous by torpedoing one of German troopships before the invasion of Norway in Apr. 1940.
Unfortunately the ship disappeared without trace after the 8th of June 1940 and nobody knows either how, when or where.
There are no less than seven hypotheses as to the final fate of the sub; the only thing which may be considered as sure is, that she foundered somewhere in the North Sea; the cause might be i/a an accident on her way either out of or back to the base.
And now my question: I would like to know, what is known about the service career and the mysterious death of the ORZEL on the other, i/e the German side, and thence my letter to you. Please tell me, what the people of the present DM know of the ORZEL and where can I write to for more information.
