I am perfectly aware of the fact that there is another part of the forum intended for English posts, but I wanted all of you to read this.
Here in Norway there are still people who remember the effort and support during those fearsome months in 1940, and we will always be gratefull for the help from Polish Army and Navy.
The sinking of Rio De Janeiro by ORP Orzel bought us valuable time in the first hours, and the crew of the ORP Grom will always be remembered here for their ultimate sacrifice at Narvik.
We send our thanks to the Polish sailors still on patrol, may they rest in honour!
