On November the 11th 2004 at Barnsley war memorial in South Yorkshire England a wreath was laid in memory of the 60 Polish and three British submariners who died on the 25th May 1940 - estimated position 57'00North 03'40'' East.
It is possible that she ran into a recently laid British minefield which was not on her charts. A similar fate may have befell the Dutch submarine.
Sonar picked up the explosion and it was assumed that it was Orzel.
